Lodging in a Palazzo-Hostel built on Ancient Roman Walls along the Appian Way in the Historical Center, everything walking distance: shops, restaurants, markets, etc. The Palazzo is simply furnished with 2 terraces, 2 balconies, 3 kitchens, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, on 4-levels without elevator (not suitable for the disabled).

Description

The Workshop is for students who want to learn the techniques of Italian Cooking & Dinning and, at the same time, live with the locals in a Medieval Town. The Cooking & Dinning Workshop includes 5 DINNERS, 5 hands-on cooking instructions, market shopping, local wines, food and materials. Classes are small; this is intentional which enables the instructor to spend more time with each student.

We offer other consecutive workshop-sessions in Italian Conversational and Plein Air Painting for those students who would like to stay longer and have weekends free to explore Rome, Vatican, Naples, Florence, and travel around Italy (there is no additional Hostel cost for weekend stay).

Classes are normally held in the late afternoon to prepare for dinner. During the days, students are free to explore FONDI’s surrounding Seaside Villages and Medieval Hilltop Towns, or take a quick day-trip to Rome or Naples.

Your late afternoons and evenings are filled with food shopping, leaning cooking techniques, hands-on dinner preparations, and the enjoyment of fantastic dinners – Italian Style.
